When was the last time I played
Tuesday Couch Potatoes? It's been a while. I lost track of the meme plus my computer has been kicking me off. It's been like this since a day before yesterday. Good thing it stayed on longer than I expect at the moment after installing the Windows updates.
Back to TCP...today's theme is "Spaced Out". I've seen quite a lot of movies with settings set on space. Most of the space movies I've watched were kinda' old. To name a few are Dracula(s) - movies that I grew up with I think, Babylon, Men in Black, Star Wars which I haven't completed, the worst space movie I've watched so far, Serenity and more. Recently, I've watched Avatar and was touched by its story. I cried watching this movie towards the end although not a bucket of tears but I did cry. I was touched.
So for the theme
"Spaced Out", my pick would be Avatar since the movie is still fresh in my head and so far, it's the best and most-advanced (as the movie is set to happen in the future - in 2154) among those I've watched. I would like to have my body hybrid ready and fly to the lush, Earth-like habitual moon called
Pandora to join the
Na'vi or I might pick
Jake (Sam Worthington), take him back to earth and take him home with me without
Neytiri's (Zoe Saldana) permission. And then...I would exclaim "
I see you!"

This is indeed an entertaining movie to watch. I had a date with hubby when we watched and we enjoyed watching it. The premise is quite extraordinary. Can you imagine having that in the far future?

I was traumatised by this movie.
The trauma began when my husband said that he had already watched this. The prob was that it wasn't with me and he can't remember who he was with. boo hoo hoo....
So i went and bought the dvd and watched it myself, hehehe....
